Formerly operating as International Ski School (ISS), Snow Sports Northwest has been in the business for over 30 years. We have brought the wonderful mountain experience to thousands of riders over that period. Our friendly, professional staff provides students of all ages the tools and opportunity to build their skiing and snowboarding skills in a safe and fun environment. We have programs to suit every skill level. Students can progress rapidly. Some former students eventually even become members of our staff.
We are located at Summit Central (previously Ski Acres) which is easily accessible from the Seattle area only 45 miles east on I-90, and 50 miles west of Ellensburg. The winter months in the lowlands are dark and rainy. But in the alpine regions, they are snowy and beautiful, which inspires people to be outdoors and active instead of inside and dormant.
